Essentially, listeners often say that while elements of influences such as At The Drive in, Led Zeppelin, Grandaddy, The Rolling Stones, Modest Mouse, Built to Spill-and others- are discernable in the songs, it is truly impossible to describe exactly who or what Matilda Catches Fire sounds "like".
